Satyanshu K. Upadhyay

Satyanshu K. Upadhyay Professor, Banaras Hindu University, India

Dr. Satyanshu K. Upadhyay is a Professor at the Department of Statistics, Banaras Hindu University. He is also linked with DST Centre for Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences at Banaras Hindu University as a core group researcher. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in 1984 from Banaras Hindu University and became Professor of Statistics in the year 2005.
Dr. Upadhyay received a number of distinctions in his career, and worked as EEC research bursary at Imperial College, London, during the year 1992-93 with Adrian Smith. He is associated with a number of academic bodies and also the fellow of the Royal Statistical Society. His research interests include preliminary test procedures, life testing and reliability, biostatistics and Bayes inferences. He has published several research papers, books, and other academic materials in his career.
